WISE, VIRGINIA-JULY 25: Stan Brock, the founder of Remote Area Medical (RAM), checks the number of people coming for free medical treatment at the Virginia-Kentucky Fairgrounds July 25, 2009. The two and half-day event helped provide health care for 2,715 people, most of whom are uninsured or underinsured with unaffordable co-pays or high deductibles for their insurance policies. Brock says "It's not really a crisis. It's the way of life in the U.S. Now it's come up to the forefront."
